When summer comes, where in the country is it better to enjoy it than in Skagen? In Skagen you will find some of Denmark's most beautiful beaches, a vibrant city life, inspiring museums and beautiful nature.

It is no secret that Skagen is the city with the most hours of sunshine and a truly fantastic light. On average, you can experience up to 22% more hours of sunshine in Skagen than anywhere else in Denmark.

In Skagen you get plenty of fresh air. Whether you want to go for a walk on one of our many beaches, at the harbor, in the forest or on one of the world's largest sand dunes – Skagen Odde – where you will also find Denmark's only desert, Råbjerg Mile, which moves with the wind up to 15 meters annually.

The shopping scene in Skagen is certainly not lacking either. In our pedestrian street you will find a large and exciting selection of specialty shops. At the harbor you will also get Denmark's best freshly caught fish. In the red fish warehouses you can experience and breathe in the real Skagen atmosphere.
